Megan's new tail whipped around as she managed to move it independently of her body. Or rather, the shark mind did. Soft human skin vanished completely as it turned pale the instant Megan's tail fully formed. Her large head ached more, she was losing her will. She knew her mom was beyond that glass barrier, waiting outside the bathroom. She heard her concerns. Megan had to give her a chance. An opportunity to get away. As her lucky necklace feel away from her neck, Megan swallowed a deep gulp of the steamy shower air. She groaned and grunted trying to form the words: 'Mom, get away!' She said it in her mind, but it only came out as a low guttural roar.

Her teeth popped out of their gums as rows and rows, dozens upon dozens of teeth took their place in Megan's new jaws. Her skull popped outwards, forming the snout and a giant, sheering maw. A third fin sprouted out of her head, relieving Megan of her remaining hair. Her body was getting larger, almost reaching the ceiling of the shower. Megan could still feel herself inside, but it was dwindling fast. She had to be quick.

Fully formed claws scratched up against the shower glass before Megan smashed hard. 'Mom!' she thought. The shower glass cracked and buckled.
